Join the campaign to support Israel during these trying times, and fill out the form below. During the trying times of the Yom Kippur War in 1973 the Rebbe launched a number of special campaigns to support Israel when it needed our blessings most - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thvuOsGYZ9I. Today we invite you to join in sending these critical tools to Israel and please G-d we will see the victory of a world of peace and redemption! The form below gives you lots of options of how you can make a difference - join us! Full Name First Name Last Name E-mail 1. TZEDAKAH/CHARITY - Add charity in Support of Israel; make giving Tzedaka part of every day: Install a charity box as a permanent fixture to the wall of your homePut a container of coins next to it and remind yourself and anyone in your home to put in a coin every morning and eveningDo the same in your office or workplace and give all of your co-workers a coin every Friday 1.2. TZEDAKA - I would like to add in the Mitzvah of giving Tzedaka at the bottom of the form with a donation allocated to: The communities of Eilat and Ashdod: We are partnering directly with Chabad of Eilat and Ashdod who are supporting and sheltering victims families, visiting the injured in hospitals and providing counseling to so many.IDF Units: We are partnering Chabad on the Frontlines who are working with specific IDF units in this regard purchasing supplies as they are being requested.Refugees in their own country: We are partnering with Colel Chabad, the longest standing social services institution in Israel, to provide much needed relief for thousands of families in Israel. The Chabad YP Community: Strengthen our Jewish identity and community here in NYC at a time when so many are in critical need of community, guidance and support. SPIRITUAL SUPPORT - Make a difference Israel: The Tefillin Campaign was formally launched, in 1967, in the days leading up to and through, the Six Day war. In our hopes for a swift and miraculous victory like we merited then, we include it here today, first, before the other four projects which the Rebbe started in 1973. 2. Israel is calling for arms - roll up your sleeve! The Mitzvah of Tefilin for Jewish men and boys over 13 is spiritual, social and emotional expression of support. Once a week - yourself. If you aren't putting on Tefillin regularly, make a resolution to start putting them on once a week. You can join us Sunday morning at Chabad YP to start your new resolution. Or at home. Either way, join hundreds of others from around the world who share their new resolution at our Let's Wrap whatsapp chat.Once a week - someone new! Thousands of Jewish men in New York don't put on Tefillin yet, and are waiting for you to reach out. Can you undertake to reach out to one of them once a week and put on Tefilin with them?Daily - yourself, with a new pair of Tefillin!. Would you like to start putting them on every day but don't have a pair - we can help you buy your own pair and even have options to get a pair for you for free! Contact me for more info. 3. Israel needs ammunition - Neshek! The Hebrew word for ammunition is Neshek. But that's also an acronym for Neirot Shabbat Kodesh - the Holy Shabbat Candles. Jewish women and girls, reach out to any friends you have and encourage them to join you in lighting candles this Friday before sunset. Light - on time! There's a strong chance that you are lighting Shabbat candles already. But chances are also pretty high that you might be able to be more careful about lighting Shabbat candles on time (at least 18 minutes before sunset) and in a more conscious present state of mind.Add one more (person kindling) light! Some have suggested adding another candle next to your Shabbat candles, but perhaps even better is to find one more person and encourage them to light Shabbat candles. Message me if you need Neshek packs. 4. Add Protection to Israel, on Your Door - Today! The Mitzvah that observes us, instead of us observing it, is of course the Mezuza. Need Mezuza? Will install! If you know anyone who doesn't have a Mezuza on their front door. Please let us know and we will help them get one up.Have Mezuza? Add more Chances are that you already have a Mezuza on your front door - great! Let's make sure that every door in your house has one! 5. Be at home in Israel - in your Home Library of Torah Books! It is imperative for every home to have at minimum a Chumash, Siddur and Tehillim. We have available for purchase. If you know of someone who does not have these in their home, please let me know. If you already have one, look through your bookshelf and think of what new Torah books to purchase for your home. Yes, I'm going to purchase a new Jewish book for my home. 6. Torah for Israel.
